Welcome to FeatureRank ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using FeatureRank, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

FeatureRank is a community-driven feature prioritization platform that integrates with GitHub to help project maintainers understand which features and issues matter most to their community through real-time voting analytics.

By creating an account, accessing, or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

These Terms apply to all users of FeatureRank, including free and paid subscribers.

FeatureRank provides the following services:

• GitHub repository integration and analysis
• Real-time voting analytics on GitHub issues and pull requests
• Community insights and prioritization dashboards
• Data export and reporting features (Pro plan)
• Custom integrations and API access (Pro plan)

Our service utilizes third-party technologies including:

• Clerk: For user authentication and account management
• Convex: For backend data storage and real-time synchronization
• Autumn: For payment processing and subscription management
• GitHub API: For repository data and reaction tracking

To use FeatureRank, you must create an account through our authentication provider (Clerk). You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

Free Plan: Basic features are available at no cost with limitations on repository count and features.

Pro Plan: Paid subscription at $9/month with unlimited repositories and advanced features.

• Payments are processed securely through our payment provider (Autumn)
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• You can cancel your subscription at any time
• Refunds are provided within 30 days of purchase for unused services
• Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. Key points include:

• GitHub data is accessed only with your explicit permission
• We use industry-standard encryption for data transmission and storage
• Data is stored securely using Convex's infrastructure
• We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes
• You can request data deletion at any time

You agree not to use FeatureRank for any unlawful or prohibited purposes, including but not limited to:

• Violating any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringing on intellectual property rights
• Harassing, abusing, or harming others
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Using the service for spam or malicious purposes
• Manipulating voting data or analytics

FeatureRank and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any data you provide to FeatureRank, including GitHub repository information and user-generated content.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

In no event shall FeatureRank, its directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with German law.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through our Service.

Your continued use of FeatureRank after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
